Alfa Romeo Arna, 1983-86. The product of a collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Nissan, the Arna used the Alfasud’s flat four engine with the body of a Nissan Cherry (Pulsar). Assembled at a new plant near Naples, the car quickly developed a reputation of poor build quality and reliability, it also lacked the driving characteristics usually associated with an Alfa Romeo. Production was halted as soon as Fiat took over Alfa Romeo in 1986
