Ford Cortina Lotus Mk 2, 1966-70. Lotus had a relationship with Ford throughout the 1960s, this included a Lotus-engined (in fact it was a twin-cam version of Ford’s Kent engine) version of the Mk 1 & 2 Cortinas. Because the Mk 1 Lotus Cortina developed a reputation for unreliability the Mk 2 was badged as a Cortina Twin Cam a few months after it went on sale. There was no equivalent Mk 3 Cortina
